ADRIAN LYLES - SOMEWHERE TO GO SINGLE

Album Reviews
Written By Front Row Amplified

This song was JUST released on Friday 11/15/24, and is the second single to be released by Break-out indie pop singer Adrian Lyles. I very much enjoyed Adrian’s vocals, resonating lyrics, and the instrumentals accompanying them. The song starts strong and purposeful with its instrumentals, then dips into a vocal softness with simple piano strokes, emphasizing the vulnerability of the lyrics. The beat picks up again expressing the desperation of the singer to find someone to call home so he is no longer stuck on a metaphorical island alone, trapped in his own mind. Everyone craves a place to belong, and sometimes, someone to belong to. I could absolutely see this song in a movie soundtrack someday. It’s truly beautiful and Adrian is definite and up and coming artist to keep an eye on.
