Erra – The Ritz, Raleigh NC

A crushing, high‑intensity performance that turned the room into a full‑force metal experience

Erra brought absolute fire to The Ritz on April 23rd, 2022, delivering a performance that hit with the kind of intensity only they can produce. From the moment the first riff tore through the speakers, the crowd was locked in—heads banging, bodies moving, and a pit circle forming almost instantly. It was loud, it was heavy, and it was everything fans came for.

The band sounded strong across the board. Vocally, the mix of harsh and clean tones cut through the room with precision, and musically, the guitars and drums were tight, aggressive, and perfectly dialed in. Erra’s sound has always been a blend of technical skill and raw emotion, and live, that combination hits even harder.

Fans were completely absorbed in the moment. Some were headbanging with full force, others were moving without thinking, letting the music take over. It was one of those sets where the energy in the room became its own living thing—loud, chaotic, and unforgettable.
