Katherine Li – The Ritz, Raleigh NC

Elegance, calm, and a voice that held the room still

Katherine Li stepped onto the stage at The Ritz on April 29th, 2023, supporting Haley Kiyoko’s tour stop, and from the moment she appeared, the tone of the night shifted. No elaborate staging, no dramatic lighting, no choreography—just Katherine, her voice, and a quiet confidence that immediately drew the crowd in.

She carried herself with a kind of pure elegance that made simplicity feel intentional. Her vocals were the centerpiece of the entire set: soft yet impactful, delicate but never fragile. Each note floated through the venue with a calmness that settled over the room, creating a moment of stillness in a space usually defined by high energy and movement.

The beauty of her performance was in how unforced it felt. She didn’t rely on spectacle; she didn’t need it. Her tone, her control, and her emotional clarity did all the work. It was the kind of set that makes you stop, listen, and appreciate the artistry in restraint.

For a supporting act, she left a lasting impression. Katherine Li showed she’s a very talented singer with a natural ability to command attention through subtlety rather than volume. Watching her perform, it’s easy to see she’s on a path of continued growth—and we look forward to seeing where her artistry takes her next.
