Candlebox — Live at Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh NC
Candlebox returned to Red Hat Amphitheater on August 27, 2024 and proved once again why their music continues to resonate across generations. Even after decades of performing, they still sounded fantastic — tight, polished, and full of that unmistakable Candlebox grit that fans have loved since the early ’90s. From the moment they stepped on stage, it was clear they hadn’t lost a step. The vocals were strong, the guitars cut through the warm summer air, and the rhythm section kept everything driving forward. Candlebox has always had a knack for blending emotional weight with rock‑solid musicianship, and this show was another reminder of that strength.
Fans across the amphitheater were locked in — singing along, cheering, and soaking up every moment. There’s something special about seeing a band whose songs have lived through multiple eras still connect so deeply with a live audience.
Whether it’s nostalgia, musicianship, or the simple fact that Candlebox still knows how to put on a great rock show, their 08/27/24 performance was yet another success. They sounded great, played with heart, and reminded everyone why they remain such a beloved part of the rock landscape.
A great show from a band that continues to deliver every time they hit the stage.
