Holding Absence — Live at The Ritz, Raleigh NC

Holding Absence delivered one of the most explosive and emotionally charged performances of the year when they took over The Ritz in Raleigh on October 2, 2024. The moment they hit the stage, it was clear they weren’t there to simply play a set — they were there to leave a mark, and they absolutely did.

The band came out swinging with jump kicks, nonstop movement, and a level of physical intensity that instantly electrified the room. They ran across the stage, leapt into the air, and poured every ounce of energy into their performance. It wasn’t just music — it was a full‑body, full‑emotion experience.

Lead singer Lucas Woodland made the show feel personal, getting right up close with fans at the barricade, reaching out, shouting lyrics directly to them, and pulling the crowd deeper into every moment. His passion was unmistakable, and his delivery carried the emotional weight Holding Absence is known for.
