The folk duo Penny & Sparrow, made up of Andy Baxter and Kyle Jahnke, brought their Lefty Spring Tour to The Ritz in Raleigh, NC on April 12th. The night was an intimate performance of the duo's songs from across their discography which the fans thoroughly enjoyed. A few notes after Penny & Sparrow took to the stage, one fan loudly exclaimed their love for the opening song. The duo paused to thank the fan and joked that that was the kind of feedback they wanted during the show, and the pair continued to converse with fans throughout the night. The show included several moments where a member of the audience selected a song from a song bank on the screen for Penny & Sparrow to perform. Many of the songs were prefaced with a story about how the duo wrote the song or the meaning behind the lyrics. Penny & Sparrow put on a wonderful show which showcased their talents and brought joy to their fans!
