The pop duo Tennis performed to a crowd of devoted fans at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC on June 5th as part of their Face Down in the Garden tour. The pair, made up of the married couple Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, released their newest album of the same name earlier this year. Shortly before the album release, Tennis announced that after 15 years of making music Face Down in the Garden would be their last studio album and this would be their farewell tour.

The night started off with the band taking to the stage to sing “I’ll Haunt You” off of their 2020 album titled Swimmer. Fans sang along and danced with Moore as she moved across the stage. The band played many of their hits such as “Weight of Desire” and “Runner”. Moore spoke on the pair’s career in between songs as well as their decision to take an indefinite hiatus. Though fans will surely miss the group, the Face Down in the Garden tour is an incredible bookend for the duo’s long career and was definitely a memorable night.
