SULLIVAN KING LIVE!! | PNC ARENA

Coverage by Chris Sturk

Sullivan King — Live at PNC Arena, Raleigh NC (03/29/2024)

Sullivan King turned PNC Arena into a full‑scale electronic rock battleground on March 29, 2024, delivering one of the most explosive opening sets of Kane Brown’s In The Air Tour. Blending metal, EDM, and pure chaos, he gave Raleigh a performance that felt less like an opener and more like a headlining spectacle.

The moment the lights dropped, the crowd erupted. Sullivan King’s stage setup dominated the arena — a towering wall of LED screens stretching across the front of his rig, blasting high‑intensity visuals, glitch animations, strobes, and fire‑red graphics that matched every beat. The screen wasn’t just a backdrop; it was part of the performance, pulsing and shifting with each drop like a living extension of the music.

The light show was massive. Lasers cut across the arena, strobes fired in sync with the kick drums, and the entire stage glowed with deep blues, reds, and neon greens. For fans seeing him for the first time, it was immediately clear: this wasn’t just a DJ set — it was a full‑scale production.

One of the biggest highlights of Sullivan King’s performance is always the guitar — and Raleigh got plenty of it. He stormed onto the stage shredding riffs over heavy bass drops, blending metal and EDM in a way only he can. Every time he grabbed the guitar, the crowd went wild. The arena lit up with screams as he ripped through breakdowns, swung his hair, and headbanged with the fans.

His ability to jump between DJ decks and guitar solos kept the energy unpredictable and electric. One moment he was unleashing a dubstep drop, the next he was shredding like he was fronting a metal band. Raleigh showed up loud. Fans were jumping, screaming, headbanging, and throwing their hands up from the first drop to the last. Even people who came strictly for Kane Brown were fully locked in, reacting to every beat and every guitar strike. When Sullivan King hit his biggest drops, the arena shook — thousands of fans moving in unison, feeding off the intensity pouring from the stage.

By the end of his set, the crowd was fired up and ready for the rest of the night. Sullivan King didn’t just warm up the arena — he detonated it.
