Country boots, jean skirts, and cowboy hats took over Koka Booth Amphitheatre on October 15th in Cary, NC as fans waited for Ty Myers to take the stage. Myers, a country and blues artist from Austin, Texas, began his music career in 2023 with multiple viral songs on the social media platform Tik Tok. Some of his early hits include “Thought it Was Love” and “Ends of the Earth”, the latter of which hit No. 20 on the Billboard Top 100. Myers released his first studio album, The Select, in January of 2025. He has since released two more full length albums and his fan base has grown exponentially with each new album.
Prior to the start of the show, a member of Myer’s crew hyped up the crowd with a t-shirt cannon. The crowd erupted even more as Myers walked on stage shortly after to perform his first song of the night, “Never Get Tired (of Loving You)”. Backed by a full band, Myers performed as if he was right at home on the stage. His voice and blues inspired lyrics filled the amphitheatre and had fans swaying and singing along. Myers performed many songs across his discography along with a few covers such as “Always on My Mind” by Willie Nelson. Pausing between songs to speak with the crowd, Myers expressed his appreciation for the fans. Myers closed out the night with his early hits. You can catch Myers on The Legal Tour through November.
