We got the opportunity to cover singer/songwriter Jordan Benjamin who is known professionally around the world as “Grandson”. We covered his tour stop in Raleigh at the PNC Arena on February 10th. Grandson released his first major label EP called “A Modern Tragedy Vol 1” in 2018 and released a follow EP called “Modern Tragedy Vol 2” in 2019. One of his biggest hits was a song called “Blood & Water” which is from his 2018 debut. He released is full length debut album called “Death of an Optimist” in 2020. He is currently on tour in support of Image Dragons.
Let’s talk about the show!
Grandson came out to the stage already filled with energy and happiness. He came out smiling and you could tell he was happy to be there. He danced, sang passionately and jumped around the stage while singing to the over 11,000+ music fans at the PNC arena. The crowd was raising their arms in the air with his movements and embracing him. He sounded great, the band played phenomenally, and they got the crowd energized. He is already a force to be reckoned with in the world of music with over 1 million YouTube subscribers enjoying his music every day. Check out some of his video music’s below! We had a great time cover his set and look forward to seeing him on the road again someday but this time headlining his own world tour!
