Coverage by Ricki Wood

After the release of their fifth studio album, I Am Not Afraid of Music Anymore, Coin brought their “I'm Not Afraid Of Tour Anymore” to The Anthem in Washington D.C.  The energy at a Coin show is always high, and this show held up to standards. Bursting around the stage with energy, the band gave fans a fun journey playing through the new album. However, they peppered in old music too, expressing not only are they not afraid of music or tour anymore, but they also “aren’t afraid of our discography anymore”. I would say the show was a great reflection of the band as a whole, fans got to hear old music that they loved, while embracing new music as they have watched one of their favorite bands grow over time. Old music or new, fans made sure to scream every word as loud as they could.
