Aidan Bisset — Live at The Ritz, Raleigh NC
Aidan Bisset stepped onto the Ritz stage in Raleigh on October 29, 2024, delivering a solo performance that immediately set the tone for a memorable night in support of COIN’s tour stop. For many in the room — myself included — Bisset was still a relatively new name, but he wasted no time proving exactly why he’s been gaining momentum.
What stood out most about Bisset’s performance was its simplicity — not in a minimal sense, but in the way he stripped things down to what mattered. No over-the-top production, no unnecessary flash. Just strong vocals, honest delivery, and a natural stage presence that made the crowd lean in.
He kept things straight to the point, letting the music carry the weight. His voice was steady and warm, and his phrasing had that modern pop clarity that translates beautifully in a live setting. Even without a full band behind him, he filled the room with ease.
Bisset’s charm came from how effortless he made everything feel. He talked to the crowd, smiled between songs, and carried himself with the confidence of someone who knows exactly who he is as an artist. There was no sense of trying to impress — just a genuine connection with the audience.
Fans responded quickly. You could see heads nodding, people swaying, and by the second half of his set, the room was fully locked in. His melodies were catchy, his lyrics relatable, and his delivery sincere.
As an opener, Bisset did exactly what you want from a supporting act: he warmed up the room, introduced his sound to new listeners, and left people wanting to hear more. His performance complemented COIN’s upbeat, indie-pop energy perfectly, creating a smooth transition into the main event.
